B Grace Bullock, PhD
Dr. B Grace Bullock is a researcher, visionary systems thinker and Founding Director and Principal Consultant of ISAEA. She is a scientist-practitioner, educator, program evaluator, speaker and author who integrates evidence-based intervention with contemplative practices in her research, teaching and clinical work. Grace's mission is to facilitate partnerships to support authentic inclusivity and diversity, scientific integrity and capacity building in program development, implementation and evaluation, and to promote mindful, effective leadership, decision-making and social change.
Grace has a diverse portfolio of research, methodological and measurement consultancy work, providing training, advising, strategic planning and program evaluation on numerous intervention and implementation studies at the University of California at Los Angeles, University of Pittsburgh, the Oregon Social Learning Center, Oregon Research Institute, Passageworks and the School of Social Transformation at Arizona State University. She worked as an Intervention Scientist at the University of Oregon Child and Family Center and Institute of Neuroscience for over a decade, where she served as co-Investigator on two, NIDA-funded longitudinal prevention trials designed to strengthen parenting practices and prevent the emergence and growth of antisocial behavior, deviant peer affiliation and drug and alcohol use from early childhood through early adulthood. More recently she was Senior Research Scientist for the Ethics, Education and Human Development Initiatve at the Mind & Life Institute.
Grace specializes in the development and psychometric testing and validation of innovative, quantitative, qualitative and mixed-methods assessment strategies for clinical, organizational/leadership, education and mindfulness-oriented research. She has developed several observational and narrative coding schemes including the widely published and employed Family Affective Attitude Rating Scale (FAARS). She is currently modifying the FAARS for use in educational program evaluation and leadership studies.
Grace received her PhD in Clinical Psychology and is a registered experienced yoga educator E RYT-500 and certified yoga therapist, providing both private a group instruction in yoga and mindfulness principles and practices and stress reduction. Prior to attending graduate school, she was the Director of Business Development for a large archiectural firm in Los Angeles, where she cultivated a passion for organizational psychology and leadership. Grace lectures extensively on topics including mindful assessment and program evaluation, and the use of mindfulness-oriented principles and practices in the cultivation of successful interpersonal relationships, leadership skills and eco-consciousness. She is the Contributing Editor for Science and Research at Yoga U Online, Professor of Yoga & Neuroscience at the Taksha University School of Integrative Medicine, Faculty at Integrated Health Yoga Therapy, the former Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Yoga Therapy, and current board member and former board president at Partners for Sustainable Schools.
Sara Kraemer, PhD

Dr. Sara Kraemer is a researcher, educator, and evaluator working in K-12 and higher education systems. Her innovative approach to research and evaluation stems from her scientific background in Industrial and Systems Engineering, where she brings sociotechnical systems methodologies and frameworks to the educational arena. This comprehensive approach integrates the technical aspects of educational systems (e.g., educational technologies, outcomes-based data, and data analytics) with social and organizational functions (e.g., collaboration strategies, team-based designs, inclusive pedagogy). This integration yields powerful data-based insights that enhance the productivity of educational systems.
Sara is the founder and owner of Blueprint for Education, a consultancy whose mission is to advance teaching and learning at every level of the education enterprise through a holistic, systems-based approach. She is also a researcher and evaluator at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research and evaluation projects have included impact studies of teacher union-district administration collaboration in K-12 schools, technology-enhanced college classrooms, interdisciplinary scientific collaborations that use distributed cyber infrastructure, and data-based decision-making of K-12 teachers.
Sara is also a technical and policy expert in the area of K-12 educator effectiveness systems, serving as a technical assistance provider to the Teacher Incentive Fund Program since 2007. Her technical expertise in this area includes: value-added and growth modeling, multiple measures frameworks, human capital management systems, alternative compensation, teacher union engagement, and data quality and data systems to support the effective use of evaluation system results. Some of her research and consultant clients include the Regional TURN organization, University of Wisconsin-Madison Geriatrics Residency Program, Farmington School District, Syracuse Teachers Association, and Milwaukee Teachers’ Association and Troy School District. She also serves as an expert witness to support the successful legal negotiation of alternative compensation in K-12 systems.
